Burnt black yet revealing some dark brown edges here or there while the coconut onslaught seems to prevent any head from forming, yet at the same time not seeming to surface too many visible lipids or film.
Despite friends giving this praise, I didn't expect this much coconut. Sweet and slick, it's a candy bar delight without being too cloying. At times a bit like coconut flan, other times exhibiting a little roasty flake, all backed by a chocolate syrup with a little pie crust.
