Hopped with Simcoe and Amarillo. No dry hopping lets the fruity Kveik yeast strain show through. Tropical aroma with flavors of grapefruit and mandarin, finishing with pear and apricot.

Fresh can (one week old). Pours a murky sort of hazy with a smallish head that leaves just a touch of lace and a ring. Nose is more like an Octoberfest than an APA. Grainy mostly with hardly any hops to note. Taste is about the same. Grainy like a euro lager with some light malt complexity. No real sign of the azacca and triple pearl hops the can claims to have in here, although some bitterness lingers. Some earthy character and some pear in the finish. Blindfolded, I would have guessed this was...I have no idea. A bad APA but at least no off flavors.

A: A pale murky yellow, with a bright white head.
S: Malty and grainy, light herbal, and a touch of citrus.
T: Grainy, with light citrus notes. Light sweet orange peel, and slightly herbal.
M: Medium light with a certain creaminess, fairly high carbonation, and semi-dry finish.
O: Seems like a weird amalgamation of beers. It feels like the yeast is fighting the hops, and adding a funkyness to the malt. There isn't any cohesion.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an amber-orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A decent, but not great, aroma of hops, tropical fruit, malt, citrus fruit, and some other light fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a good amount of apricots (unexpected), a moderate amount of hops (not too much), a bit of tropical fruit (mango), and some citrus fruit (oranges, in particular). A kind of uneven flavor. It seems like some of the elements don't really mesh well (i.e., the apricots and the mango). Not terrible, but not brilliant.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A wildly uneven beer, but it has some good qualities.

I don't see a date listed on the bottom of the can.
Appearance: The beer has a large white frothy head with good retention and lacing. The body is a beige-orange and is very cloudy.
Aroma: The beer has a yeasty scent, and that is all that comes across.
Taste: The beer tastes very bready with notes of cracker and a very very light hint of lemon.
Mouthfeel: The body is very smooth, chewy, medium bodied, thick, with low bitterness.
Overall: There is little to no hop presence in this beer. It mostly consists of this yeasty, bready character. It isn't a bad beer it just isn't a very good one either. The can states that this is "HOPPED WITH SIMCOE AND AMARILLO" but it strongly lacks in the hallmark characteristics of both of these hops. The beer also lacks a clean presentation on the palate. It is good enough that you can drink the beer and finish it if you have purchased it but I would not recommend it or buy it again.

Poured a golden-orange body with good head and lace. The aroma is floral and light just like the beer. A light, crisp, body with hints of grapefruit and malty sweetness balance with moderately dry hops and it is an easy, if uneventful, beer to drink.

Tap: a hazy burnt pale orange, lovely head/lacing; neutral/citrus nose; toasty/citrusy/slightly pithy taste; medium-light, moderate carbonation.
