16oz can, wine glass, picked up from the brewery.
Rightly muddy brown with a red glow where it meets light. Small cream colored head fading to ring of bubbles.
Wood, burnt caramel, light roast, marshmallow.
Flavors are in line with the aroma. It’s nutty with some caramel, even burnt caramel notes. The sweetness is subdued.
Medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. It’s soft and drying.
It’s a good porter that’s definitely on the dry/savory side.
