Look: It pours copper with reddish hues. It has a light tan head. Head retention is moderate.
Smell: It has aromas of chocolate and raisins. There are also some caramel notes with cherries.
Taste: There are chocolate flavors with raisins. There are also a low level of toast, cherries, and caramel. There cherry flavors become a bit more pronounced in the finish.
Feel: It has a medium full body with some alcohol warmth.
Overall, a good combination and balance of flavors.

Very nice dubbel
Served on tap at Capitol City Brewing. Snifter. Cola colored brown with a ring of foam. Nice aromas of dark fruit, cocoa powder, cherries, spice, caramel. Nice complex mix of flavors: prune and cherry, dark chocolate, bread dough, candi sugar and spice.
