My favorite semi-local stout, lightly carbonated with a thickness I tend to prefer in my stouts. I have no idea if the word "oyster" is a selling point at all for stouts, but i bought this initially because I had a good NJ oyster stout at my aunt's house. Then, I accepted it reluctantly (not that reluctantly), and was pleasently surprised. This time, I'm still surprised how much I love it. It costs more than Guinness Foreign Export, and it's arguably better than Guinness Foreign Export, making it a purchase that makes sense (despite a 4-pack costing about $16, or the cost of a nice-sized oyster rockefeller appetizer). I am starting my 4-pack, right now, after losing a ton in the stock market, and it eases the pain.

Black with a tan head, good retention, rings of lace
The absolute darkest of chocolate and espresso with a bit of a tangy, briny aroma
Espresso and dark chocolate, meaty, briny, tangy flavors
Heavy bodied but not sticky, appropriate carbonation
Tasty. Gonna have to hold onto a couple of these to cellar
