Amber brown pour with a full tan head, ripples of lacing left on the glass. Smell has big caramel, dark bread and dark fruit, but a strange yeastiness too. Taste starts with pleasant dark malts and fruit, slight oxidized caramel, but then big smokiness with a hint of metal on the end ruins the serenity. Feel smooth and malty but thin, then on the finish watery with faint harshness

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, bubbly head dissipates quickly. Sweet malty aroma, nutty, light roast. Taste is malty and sweet, nutty. Mildly dry finish. Medium weight, smooth, tasty. A good choice to follow a dark mild.

Clear, dark reddish copper body; heavy carbonation; thin head, light khaki hued head. Very nice bock aroma; sweet and malty; fine ester undercurrent. Great flavor; malt sweetness with toffee; subtle hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; velvety residual sugar feel on the palate; semi-dry finish.
This is a tasty, straight-forward bock beer, malty with nicely hidden ABV content.
Pouring temperature: 45.5 ℉; canning info: n/a
