Crosstown Brewing Co.

Rehabbed factory building a few blocks off the highway on the west side of town. 30 foot high cielings really open the plac up. Short straight bar perpendicular to the entrance on the right seats about 8, with more than a few tables about the room and on the patio. 15 beers on tap. Efficient bartenders. Food was solid.

Vibe is very open and airy while maintaining a comfortable feel. With couches scattered throughout the seating area when it isn't too busy it feels a bit like a modern Starbucks, just a place you can drink something and chill. There are also some games, but not enough to call it an arcade.

I only had one beer, the Festbier called Crosstonerfest, amd it was pretty good. It was on style, and I just wish it had a nicer head amd was more drinkable.

Service was perfectly average. Bartenders were nice and offered to answer questions, but seemed disappointed when I wanted to close out after one beer.

At first glance, selection seems good, but after a quick scan it's mostly trendy beet styles. A few lagers, some sours, stouts, and IPAs but nothing all that interesting. Still a good number of beers to choose from.

This is a terrific space...roomy and open... they always have a lot of different tap options along with swag/glass/sticker options for purchase...

There is usually a food truck parked somewhere close and there are restaurants within walking distance for food options..

Their flagship offerings, while nothing to write home about, are accurate to style...they do lots of different things and aren't afraid to experiment...some are hits and some are misses but there is usually a good variety..

Definitely worth a stop if you are in Memphis.

 

Stopped by on a Monday evening. Nice facility with plenty of parking. Good service with decent prices. Tasters available. About 9 beers on tap with a few available to go. Enjoyed my limited time here.
