A: Pours an almost brick read color. A one finger beige head forms but recedes not nothing in a minute. Not much lace is left behind.
S: Cereal grains, and caramel like malts. Maybe some light earthy hops in the finish, but very neutral.
T: Like the nose, just very neutral and nondescript. Light cereal grains, and caramel malts. Not much of a finish, or any other nuances coming out. Just very average.
M/O: A medium body and carbonation. A bit muddled and thin. Like the pale ale, just kind of wet an there. Nothing I really care to come back to.
This seems similar to the Pale Ale, just without the bittering hops. Very neutral and nondescript with a touch of grainy/caramel character. I love me some simple and straight forward beer styles, but there is not a lot here to keep drawing me in for more.
