Quad aged 24 months in Cherry Brandy barrels.
Pours a deep, dark purplish amber. It's very fizzy with no head. The nose is potent--esters, molasses, candy sugar, dark fruit, alcohol. The flavor profile is similar. There are big dark fruit note, figs and prunes. Cherry and candy sugar are the dominant flavor in the finish. Alcohol is noticeable but it doesn't overpower or burn. It's a medium bodied beer with good carbonation.
I like that Bent Run has taken on Quads. Each iteration has been really enjoyable.
