Pours a deep brown with a coffee-colored head. Like all other beers in the bar, the combination of being poured too cold and cigar-smoking patrons results in very little aroma. Hints of espresso and a light sweetness make up the nose. Heavy malt pervades on the palate, with a strong coffee flavor that lingers lon after the beer is down. Nicely balanced, it's basically a slightly less malty version of the Ironclad Stout. Probably couldn't handle more than one in an evening.
