Don’t let the haziness of this New England IPA fool you. It packs a punch on top of the big and balanced flavor. The haze is characteristic of this unfiltered style, but it certainly doesn’t mask the juiciness and varying notes of citrus. Upfront you taste the passionfruit and mango but the hints of pineapple is what lingers for a while.

16 oz can into a shaker pint glass.
L: Pours very hazy dark apricot orange color with a 1/4" soft white head that has good retention, low carbo, light sticky lacing.
S: a hint of fruits, caramelized malts, fairly light and simple.
T: Overripe fruits, peach, light citrus zest, caramelized malts, it looks richer than it tastes, light mango, not really very bitter.
F: Lightly brisk then smooth medium to med-heavy bodied mouthfeel with a slightly dry medium length finish. There is light chalk.
O: Pretty easy drinking but not a lot of flavor. IMHO with a bit more work and adjusting this beer will pull together. It's average and is good in its style.

No canning date
Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (20% clarity) medium to light, but bright orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Mild aromas of grapefruit citrus, orange citrus, tropical pineapple.
Flavor: Mild flavors of lemon citrus, grapefruit citrus, some hints of tropical pineapple. Minimal malt lfaovr. Crisp, clean, dry.
Feel: Lighter-bodied, strong carbonation. Dry, crisp, clean.
Compared to BlackStack Local Drops 2/2023: Pours darker, similar head. Milder aromas. More lemon citrus. Less tropical pineapple and grapefruit. Dryer, cleaner, and milder. Largely similar. Winner: BlackStack
Overall: Pretty mild NEIPA here as others have mentioned. Some grapefruit, lemon citrus. Clean, crisp, and dry. Almost approaches IPL status as the malt body is nearly nonexistent. Could use more hop flavor though. Sort of mild and underwhelming. Not great and probably less than average from a craft brewery in terms of haze. (Rating: 3.66)

From a can: Really muted flavors. Unlike other hazies I've had. Visible chunks and really overcarbonated.

From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Cloudy yellow, yeast chunks, big head.
Smell: Fruity, maybe some peaches?
Taste: Fruity, way too carbonated, citrus, acidic orange juice.
Overall: A friend highly recommended this beer so I tried it. Not too old at ~3 months and supposedly refrigerated all that time. Unfortunately it hits all the wrong notes for a hazy IPA--chunky, ugly appearance, acidic orange juice taste and an odd overcarbonation. Others from Spiral have not had this issue.

Pours a hazy dark golden color with a fluffy head and nice lacing. Smell is malty with citrus hops. Taste I’d malty more than hoppy it has citrus and grapefruit some pine. Mouth feel is dank and mildly bitter finishes with sweet malts and oragnge rind.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'CANNED ON 11/16/20'.
Murky, pale amber colored body. Multi finger white colored head, which required three tries to pour the entire can. Leaves partial sheets of lacing.
Aroma of hops - mango, orange, and pineapple.
Taste is fruity but less distinct on flavors. The back half brings forth some dank pin sap. Has bite but no bitterness.
More than medium mouth fill. Wants to bring foam to the mouth. High carbonation.
Okay, but not one to visit again. The flavors are more earthy than suggested in the nose.

L: brown and hazy. Unattractive
S: nothing offensive, just not much there
T: none of that juicy quality of a good hazy
F: over carbonated for me
O: It’s wet. Very little else redeeming about this one.
