Bottle. Black color tan head.
Really solid Russian imperial stout. Chocolate, nice roast, caramel, molasses, raisins. Dark dried fruits. Full bodied. Nice feel.

This beer pours pitch black with a thick 4 finger brown head. The head retention is quite good and long lasting, and there's some good lacing on the glass.
The nose has notes of chocolate and caramel.
The flavor has a lot of raisin and plum in it, backed up by chocolate and caramel. Hints of coffee are also in here. There's also a bit of bitterness on the back that balances out the sweetness up front.
The body is pretty good for a 9% beer.
This is my first beer from them, and I'm impressed.

22oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee, caramel and dark chocolate. Sweet chocolate, toffee and caramel taste. Mild coffee-like bitterness.
