I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a very dark nearly opaque dark amber with white head that left a very nice lace. The scent had very good dark roast malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was nice dark roast and mild burnt corn presence with clear hop finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
