Walser Alpine Lager owes its inspiration to the crisp mountain Lagers of the Swiss Appenzell. Rich golden in color with a delicately balanced profile of German Pilsner malt, two varieties of Munich malt, and Spelt. Hopped with choice Hersbrucker, Tettnanger & Hallertau Tradition - meadow herbs and subtle spicy floral elements marry fait notes of juniper and candied citrus.

010923 on bottom rim. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Brilliantly clear straw yellow with 1-finger foamy off-white head with below average retention and scarce lacing.
S: Strong sulfur/hot dog note off the top that fades to leave pils honey maltiness with lemon zest noble hop aroma.
T: Beyond solid pale lager, slightly bready sweet pils maltiness with spicy, herbal, lemon zest noble hop finish. Low-moderate bitterness and clean without esters.
M: Light body with moderate carbonation and clean overall feel with dry finish.
O: Delicious European "Alpine" style pale lager with a solid pils malt backbone and unique strong lemon zest hop character.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a collar around the edge of the glass and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grassy, spicy and floral hops are present in the nose along with underlying notes of grainy and bready hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has a light to moderate amount of bitterness. There are also some subtle hints of sweetness from the malts.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager is very easy to drink and has enough hops to lend bits of complexities to the smell and taste.
Serving type: can

An antidotal dream where Raul reigns supreme… Nah, it ain’t like that. I think Walser actually enhances my abilities - rather than diminish them. Yeah, Walser is like waiting at the bus depot, and having yours come on time. Sure, long waits suck, but you’re still taking the Greyhound, ya feel me? That said, this beer is actually very respectable, but it just doesn’t “pop” like the best.
See ya, my minions.
