Meltemi is a coastal Mediterranean inspired lager that delivers sublime refreshment without compromising depth, nuance and quality. Brewed with a base of German Pilsner malt combined with a subtle blend of maize and jasmine rice, a delicacy of mouthfeel is achieved that is both expressive and unique. Perle and Alsatian Strisselspalt hops give Meltemi lovely aromas of lemon thyme and spicy spring blossoms. Yamas!

Hazy lughr yellow pour, steady white foam head, not to large. Nose gives a whiff if rice with floral notes wafting around.
Taste brings the creamy rice, soft citrus, there's the corn (mild), light kilned malt, sweet herbs linger. Finish chooses the citrus and herbs.
I am not a big fan of rice in beer, but the rice does give this beer a delicate mouthfeel that works well with the choice if hops.

Mildly fogged up burnt yellow with a tall white foam head.
Very forward of buttered white bun in the middle of being freshly baked, there's also some canned corn on the side.
Crisp and tingly with some balancing grassy hops, the finish remains semisweet.

A: The beer is slightly hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a small patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of earthy and floral hops are present in the nose along with hints of mint.
T: The taste follows the smell and has light flavors of underlying corn and a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and somewhat clean and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager is easy to drink. I liked how the hop flavors were subtle enough so as not to overpower a beer that is lighter in body.
