Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival 2 fingers of light pink head sat atop a cherry red body with plentiful fine carbonation. Good retention and lacing on a sour?!?! Holy shit this is a first.
Smell falls off a bit with a funk, and just not quite enough fruit. There's almost a light lager corniness as well.
Taste follows the aroma with the light lager character followed by a light tartness. It almost seems like the corn and sour come together to make a suboptimal funk. Other than that everything is just a bit too light. More cherry and more sour please.
Feel is super drinkable, but in again a light lager sort of way. The head is very smooth and the carbonation is refreshing.
Overall I was a bit disappointed. Not because it was bad, but because the main aspects I ordered this beer for just weren't present enough.
