This is a scaled up and extremely hop saturated version of our beloved Angel Wings. It starts with more of the same hop selection to exude heavy citrus and tropical fruit flavors. We notice bursting aromas of citrus, lemon, tropical fruit, a touch of biscuit followed by flavors of citrus, peach, passion fruit, and subtle Grapefruit. It uses a blend of American and English Ale Yeast and a healthy but pleasant early boil bittering. We dare you to put down your glass once this deceivingly high ABV treat coats your palate with enslaving hop oils.

This begins with a pretty pour from a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. The resultant head is almost stark white, slightly foamy, but not close to being ridiculously so. The color of the brew is orange-amber that's bold and somewhat bright and opaque. The aroma is fruity, with only a hint of citrus. It is not as profound as suggested in the description include in the notes above. To its credit, all that fruitiness is there in the taste. The references to peach, passion fruit and citrus at the finish is not an exaggeration. The barley malt is underplayed to the taste, but the body is more than adequate, regardless. IPAs that taste fruity may be a tough sell to the many that don't like that direction, but this is a good one. There is a little biscuitlike beginning and the transitions to fruit, then citrus are quite enjoyable. There's no glass lacing worth mentioning, but the relatively high ABV only adds another pleasant taste dimension. A floater or two, likely yeast but maybe oats, added a little character. This is good, maybe even very good.

16oz. Can served in a Spiegelau tulip. Pours a lovely burnished orange with a rocky, half-inch, cream-colored head embedded with craters and pinpricks. Clarity is hazy but not turbid. Nose reveals notes of candied citrus. Taste consistent with nose with some notes of mango, following the main citrus push. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an easy, even carbonation and a slight oiliness to the texture. What a wonderful DIPA. This can hang with Treehouse and Trillium on my humble opinion.

32oz growler filled at the brewery. Pours a hazy dark orangeish brown with an inch of head. Tons of lacing. Nice nose of berries, grapefruit , guava, mango, lemon and peach. The taste is grapefruit, guava, peach and lemon. The malts kick in more towards the end along with more tropical fruits. Medium to heavy body with lots of carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Moderate alcohol presence.
