The liquid is the color of grapefruit. Cloudy. Little head and no lace.
The smell is surprisingly subtle. All of the appropriate notes are here--a tart cut but with sweeter fruit. I also detect cream.
The start is mild but the swallow brings the sour cherries and, oddly, cinnamon sugar sweetness. This is far more complex than expected. While I don't pick up on apricot, there is sweet stone fruit presence (peach comes to mind). The aftertaste is the lingering dark cherry tart.
