9/7/21 dated tall can.

Pours super dark, dark mocha cap next to no lacing.

Fudge brownie and warmed bananas on the sniff.

Super thick, over the top chocolate milkshake in the mouth.

Chocolate overload, fudge, vanilla, and yes ripe bananas and vanilla….delicious…quality night capping sipper of a brew.

Pours nearly black, appearing opaque black in the glass with a three finger chocolate brown head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, dark chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and mild baked banana. Flavor is semi-sweet, dark toasted malt with no char, fudge, vanilla, cinnamon and banana. Chocolatey banana finish. Medium bodied with silky, moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. With a name like this, you know it's going to be a dessert stout and this fits the bill. Not so much a pastry stout as a shake stout, that really does deliver the taste of a bananas Foster, although one with a chocolate topping. Sweet, but not cloying. Banana is present, but not dominating. A solid dessert stout and good introduction to this brewery. Looks and feels great.

Good head production, but it's fizzy and quickly down to nothing more than a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Body is beautifully dark.

Initially, the nose revealed little more than traditional stout tones plus a little more banana - little more than nominally provided by typical yeast expression. Up close, however, cinnamon and vanilla emerge strongly, joining the banana.

Thick and creamy on the palate. Unbelievably rich. Builds in the mouth, so take small sips if you're hoping to savor.

A tinge of metallic flavor is the only detraction, and it doesn't last long. This beer quickly establishes itself as incredibly decadent, sweet but not cloying. Tasting notes of toffee, honeycomb, cinnamon, vanilla, cream, chocolate, banana, brown sugar, cola, marshmallow, caramel. It's got everything you expect from a dessert stout, before you even consider the added flavorings.
