A: hazy; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a thin cap; nice rings of lace;
S: orange zest and grapefruit zest;
T: the aromas were distinctive, but the flavor is muddled - orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and herbal notes; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish; some hop burn;
O: the flavor was the weak point;

Excellent if unoriginal aroma, lush and juicy but with a nice piney bite.
Flavor packs in tropical fruit notes, along with moderate dankness and a light touch of bright herbs. With PacNorWest hops advertised, you might expect a throwback WC IPA profile in a New England IPA package, but they definitely went with modern hops from the region. It's very tasty, but largely indistinguishable from the masses of NE IPAs out there.
