12 ounce can - Charlie's Beer & Wine in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, deep gold-hued body with an inch of near white, sustained foam. Quite a bit of lacing.
Smell: Hoppy scents of papaya, pine sap and citrus fruits with some cutting, jutting resins and sharp florals. Also, a sustained caramel note through the nose.
Taste: Sweetish hints of blonde caramel and toffee layered atop bready barley and toasted grains. Resiny pine, tangy grapefruit and tropical fruits with a moderate degree of bitterness. Remains soundly bitter and resiny with a light astringency through the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A basic, efficient IPA.
