This toasted coconut blonde stout strikes a balance between both smoothness and decadence.

I like the idea of this stout. Toasted coconut is a desirable flavor. You do taste the coconut, slightly. But the mouthfeel felt too light for a stout.

12 oz can with a 23 October 2018 canning date.
Look: clear, reddish copper colored body with a decent off-white head that has poor retention.
Aroma: fruity with off notes.
Flavor: follows the aroma; faint coconut.
Overall: disappointing.

What the...... What is this.
Stouts are not yellow.
Stouts should smell like roast barley.
Stouts shouldn't taste like coconut cookies.
Stouts shouldn't have a hatred for my tongue.
People stop buying "white" stouts, its not a thing.
Brewers, stop making "white" stouts, they're garbage.

It neither reminds me of a stout in taste or body, nor does the flavor of coconut come across at all. It is really just a strong, sweet blonde ale. It’s not bad. Just nothing I would get again. Would rather get something like Rogue’s Coldbrew 2.0 blonde ale which while not billed as a blonde stout, gives that impression way more than this beer did.
