Our Porter pours deep black over Ruby color with a medium-rich body. Aromas of cocoa, toasty malts, and fresh espresso round out flavors of dark chocolate and dark fruits that emerge for a smooth finish.

Appearance: Jet black, khaki head with good retention
Aroma: Roasted and chocolate malt
Flavor & Aftertaste: Roasted malt and cocoa, mild fruity esters, but not overwhelming. Bitterness is mild.
Palate: Medium body, drying. Fairly long finish.
Overall: This surprised me. Some American Porters can be a little harsh, this one hits in-between. It's quite drinkable, especially at 6% ABV. Roasted malt and cocoa flavors are prominent. It is more dry than sweet. Very pleasant. Would drink again.
