I visited this brewery while in Dayton on business. It is located in a small-ish brick building on a fairly busy street near downtown. There is a simple but comfortable, small taproom and a good sized outdoor patio. The brewing operation could be spotted in a separate area behind the taproom. They had interesting graphics and artwork, with an artsy, medieval folk-art vibe. The staff were very friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the beers. There were only a few customers, who mostly seemed like regulars, and the atmosphere was laid back and neighborly.
They had 16 beers on tap, covering a wide range of styles from pale pilsners to porters and stouts and even a few sours. I found the beers to be well crafted and tasty, and I would definitely go back for more, given the opportunity.

Cool spot for good brews and good vibes. Simple and just right. Great attention to detail in the styles they produce, and they throw off a different vibe from other spots in the area.

Visited with my buddy on a Tuesday afternoon. Decent parking for the area. Attractive layout and decor with kind of a minimalist style and fifteen or so taps available. Kind of quiet but I enjoyed my Crumble ESB.

Smaller place with a 6-person bar rail with some surrounding tables. Bright interior with plants and three white painted brick walls, with the bar rail a brick wall. Some seating outside. Had 10 taps, decent variety. The beer I tried was high quality. Water station and a fridge with some to go cans. Overall decent.

Dayton's newest brewery has been open a couple of months--they opened in April 2018. I made my first visit in July after the opening rush settled down. There's some exciting hype about this place. It's spare, modern and clean inside. About 8 chairs at the bar, and 11 beers on tap the day I visited. You can buy three pour sizes: 5, 10, or 14 oz. The most expensive pour was $6.50.
There is a broad selection of styles, from a 3.5% Berlinerweisse to a 7.4% hazy IPA. All the beers I tried were decent. The NE style "On A Cloud" was excellent, one of the best Ohio-brewed NE style IPAs I've had.
I saw some barrels aging in the back room, so am excited to see what comes out of them. Happy to see this new brewery in Dayton, and I plan to make many more visits in the future.

Stopped by here on opening day. I'd been waiting on this one for a long time. I'm a big fan of open fermentation and farmhouse styles. The place is small but they maximize the space. The head brewer stopped to talk to me for a second. I always like that. The beer was pretty good, I think it will get even better once they really dial the recipes in. I think it could start to get some national attention.
