quality modern pils with a nice hop profile but pretty modest bitterness, an easy warm weather drinker but also a well nuanced brew worthy of some contemplation. i am loving the lager resurgence in recent years and this one really hit for me, just my second beer from these guys. glowing real light yellow in the glass, pretty clear and sparkling, big bubbles and an inch of puffy white head, looks really good. the nose is light on the grain side, a little less european to me there than a lot of these, and the yeast is tight and clean too, mineral character pops to me, light breadiness, and an uplifting summery citrus thing to the hops, lightly grassy too though, lime zest, some noble character, really quite dynamic there, fresh as can be. the flavor is similar, on the lighter side in terms of grain and yeast presence in this, but well balanced still for sure. dry crackery character to the malt, fresh, and it plays well with these hops, which to me have so much to them from key lime to green melon rind to old world spiciness, white wine, some tempered bitterness, and obvious lemon as well, lovely on top of such a simple and clean base beer. vibrant carbonation and a minimal body make it super refreshing, its clean on the swallow and crisp to drink, the lagering here is excellent even if the yeast is mellow in the taste. refreshing and repeatable, very professionally done, something id drink all the time if it were available here. love the hop profile here too, elevated but not dominant, impressive!

Great lacing on the glass, lots of carbonation coming through. Very clean and crisp going down, nice bitterness on the backend. Good quality malts coming through, with a lot of wafer bread flavors. All in all, very well done! Far too many average pilsner out there being pumped out since it's a popular style now. This one is cohesive and it absolutely stands it's ground against the European big boys.

Very pale, straw yellow color. Crystal clear. Moderate and lasting white head. Some wider, 3D streaks remain on the glass as the beer is consumed.
Mostly pale malt showing in the form of soured corn. Some alcohol on the second whiff. Crisp.
The taste is a definitive step up from the smell. First, it is cleaner without any adjunct flavors. Second, the alcohol is no longer apparent. It retains its crispness. The body leans thin, even for the style. The carbonation is also quite high. The hop is stronger and slightly more biting than the style, leaving a lengthy aftertaste.

Who is this brewing company and why do I love all their beers? Thank you for bringing well crafted, perfectly structured pilsners and lagers to the Bay Area/NorCal. When in the area keep an eye out for this one and their czech lager.
The taste: pint can poured into 20oz willi becher. Tight pearly bubbles, lacing on side of glass, not overly hopped, rounded mouthfeel. Blind taste against your favorite EU import - I dare you.

Had this at FW in Paso Robles and it was seriously good! Everything that makes a Pilsner great and super drinkable.

Crystal clear straw colored beer with a sticky white head. Very beautiful.
Tastes like a grassy cracker. In a good way. Nice balance of traditional European and modern American takes on the style.
Easy drinker for sure

Wow. So I bought a fully mixed 6-pack, six different beers, at a local beer store a few days ago. And drinking this as the last one -- not that I knew I was saving the best for last, but it sure is!
It looks and smells like a very light lager, I think there is corn in It. But the taste has a depth of malt flavor, it's warm and round, so different from the aroma but it's a nice surprise. And crisp but not too crisp, maybe European hops (I'm not good at identifying hops, sorry) balance the mall perfectly. I would market it as an Italian pils But they can call it whatever they want -- I'm going back for more.

From Beer Drop. Canned July 8th.
It pours a clear straw gold with a good head of foam that lasts leaving lacing behind.
Aromatic nose of dry hopping, noble like, some bready notes.
Dry hop, noble hop like bitterness, dryness, crisp, some notes of bread. Superb drinkable.
Medium body, good healthy carbonation.
This is quite excellent and pleasing.

16oz can, wine glass, canned 7/8/21.
Straw colored and very clear with a gorgeous fluffy white head that’s got some retention.
Crackers, grain, grass. So clean and so intense.
Light pilsner malt sweetness, very floral, and just a hint of pepper.
Pretty full body for a Pils, soft, but it does have medium-high carbonation to balance.
This is the type of Pilsner I’ve been digging so much lately. It’s so clean, and sparse, and just high quality.

Outstandingly clear and bright golden yellow body; very nice carbonation; somewhat thin yet rocky and creamy head, white and sticking in patches inside the glass. Classic pilsner malt aroma; pale malt with a slight cereal grain hint; softly floral. Beautiful, clean taste; very light cracker and biscuit; moderate hop bitterness; a smidgen of herbal notes. Light body; crisp; very gentle and delicate sweetness to the body; dry mouthfeel overall, especially midway and long into the finish.
This is one fantastic pilsner. It firmly meets the clean and crisp character one would look for in a good Czech-style pilsner.

Clear golden color with piles of sticky foam in the narrow Jack Daniels glass. Interesting aroma of warm straw and a hint of fresh alfalfa. Has that classic sweet malty note followed by the herbal hops, even perfumey like a Kölsch. Certainly a wealth of flavors with a grainy finish,
There's an odd fruity taste that is not my favorite. I'm thinking fermenting pineapple. But overall it's thoroughly likeable and the lush mouthfeel adds to the pleasure. From the 16 oz can shipped by City Beer. Dated 08/13/20 on the bottom.
