Pours that hazy yellow color. 2/3" white head. Big. Guessing someone aped someone's IP before this beer got made and probably re-named. Or maybe its an ode to everyone else getting caught up in that kind of marketing.
Aroma hit the usual cheater hop notes, big on juicy, sweet citrus, stone fruit and tropical. The medley. I would say it prolly leaned on Citra more than any other hop in the aroma department. Mosaic pushes the tropical as expected.
Taste is good. Still pushing a tad bit harder on the citrus, but its clearly that almost ubiquitous Citra and Mosaic hop domination throughout. Almost always good, but hardly unique, heck most breweries even have multiple Citra and Mosaic hopped beers now that acreage allows such a thing. Nothing off with this beer, almost scary how good has become mundane at times for these breweries. For a hazy ipa, it has a likeable middle of the road bitterness level, and even some dry back end of the mouth feel. More like a hybrid.

I let this can sit for a while to let it settle in from the noticable harsh burn that comes with some of Alvarado Streets offerings. This one has a decent tropical dank hoppy nose. Taste follows with resinous dank bitterness on the swallow. The typical Alvarado Street hop bite, but at the end instead of the front. It has good depth for a single.

Canned 3/14/19, consumed 3/23/19
Pours hazy but not cloudy yellow gold, small head, low retention, decent amount of spotty lacing.
Aroma is equal parts tropical/citrus/stonefruits juicy with danky herbal/floral/weedy notes. Nice blend, reminds me of a less pungent Focal Banger.
Taste is right there, down the middle of juicy and danky.
Feel is medium, thin like a WCIPA, good carbonation and med/low bitterness.
Overall, this is definitely a WCIPA with a slightly hazy appearance. Solid, but I honestly would rather have a regular WCIPA or a juicy NEIPA instead of some kind of mixup of both.

Outstanding It looks like a typical east coast hazy but has the dankness of a west coast IPA. Best beer I have had in months.
