Alright, this is gonna be the rare positive deviation review. Pretty rare when I know that at the outset.
Pours with an absolute perfect degree of clarity to it. My picture of it is taken in front of my Centennial hop plant, and it is absolutely visible through the pint glass. 1/2" white head. Just phenomenal appearance. The aroma is well done as well, I think CTZ is most prominent, but Galaxy and Citra are noticeable to a lesser extent. Good mix of weed, pine, pineapple and grapefruit to the nose.
Taste is damn good too, there is a light Simcoe feel to it, but that is just because this is so dang light bodied and yet hoppy. CTZ still doing a great job at different tasks here, pretty nice when that hop carries the aroma, taste and bitterness aspects more than the other hops. The body is so fresh and so clean. This was probably the best new dipa I had in 2019. Excelled at every aspect of the hoppy beer game, utterly crushable like it was a pale ale, no hint of booziness. If you're into pine and weed, those were the biggest flavors going on.

Appearance - Pours crystal clear and golden yellow in color with a frothy, white near two-finger width head. Not much retention, peeling back quickly to reveal a mostly barren surface with a thick ring around the edge of the glass. A few small spots make up the sparse lacing.
Smell - Citrusy and tropical with a hint of cattiness. Tangerine, pineapple, lesser mango. Fair pine riding beneath.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tangerine and pineapple brightness with a touch of mango and guava. Dank pine hits mid-taste and brings with it a bit of earthiness. Finish is a fair mix of the fruitiness battling it out with the dank and earthen qualities.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, slightly bitey carbonation. Slick texture. Drinks easy before a crisp, very dry finish.
Overall - Pretty good. A bit of imbalance in the flavor, but it's strong and complex.
