Picked a four pack of this up from Craft at the end of 2020. My least favorite of all the UR tactics, yet still good.
Pours a full blown hazy appearance, dense 3/4" white head. A good looking beer of an ugly style. The aroma was the least aromatic of the series, light pineapple, grapefruit rind and popsicle stick aroma.
Taste actually had more of the light wooden aspect than the nose, which was surprising. The Galaxy hops here weren't popping elite tier, these are not massive pineapple and tropical fruit hop impacts. Much lesser, more in common with some of that C hop rind going on. More citrus than tropical, more bitter than sweet citrus. The alcohol was more noticeable in the mouth feel than the other tactic series beers I've had too. There's a mild astringency that just wasn't in the others. You get a little adjusted to it eventually.
While it was still a good beer, I think this is the one and only time an Urban Roots beer came in under expectations. Food still the best in CA though.

Poured from a can - murky and turbid yellow with white head leaving some frosty lacing. Nose is ripe tropical fruit and citrus. Taste follows with a decent hop bite. Mighty fine.

Sweet, tropical hoppy and slight dank nose on this one! Classic Galaxy hop aromatics! Taste follows with a tropical-sweet and juicy, grapefruit-citrus bitter finish. This feels very nice and soft on the palate! The lactose added is subtle, but adds to the depth a bit. This is really good!

Decent Galaxy double hazy - beware, contains lactose.
