2022 fall release.

A clear deep amber with a dense off-white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is rich and bready, caramelized with toffee, a firm hop character, mildly floral and lemony. Soft oak. The palate opens rich and bready, more marzen like than a helles festbier. Sweet with mild dough and caramel notes. Soft, bitter finish, mdly floral and lemony, with a touch of wood. Gorgeous, creamy yet snappy mouthfeel. Most excellent.

Sweet honey-caramel malty and hint of vanilla bourbon barrel nose on this one! Yowza! Taste follows with a clean and balanced, caramel bready malty, hint of vanilla bourbon, and mildly hoppy finish. I mean...this is great use of barrel here! Barreling up a lager?! Who knew?! Ha! This is fantastic!

Mostly clear amber with a mushroom head. Smell and taste are the same: toasty caramel, with soft bread, plenty of toast, touches of oak, and orange zest. I really dig what they were going for here with the oak, get the enhancing in the taste, not the nose. Feel is more bready than malty, but certainly is both, oak given an elevation to the finish that pairs well with the yeast in particular, though oak has an odd twinge to it here and there. The wife liked it
