Appearance - The beer poured a nice copper color with white bubbles crown in the glass.
Smell - in the nose, the smoke was apparent. Still, you couldn’t tell this was an amber ale.
Taste - There was a good amount of smoke in the initial taste. It was not overbearing or acidic. What set it apart was the sweetness of the amber ale in the background. Both profiles work together with the smoke leading the way.
Mouthfeel - Even understanding the base beer was an amber, a little more body would have allowed the smoke to linger. The carbonation was crisp.
Overall - For the style, this beer was really tasty.

Pours a clear caramel auburn. Smells like a campfire, all smokey upfront. Clear and crisp with a smoked finish. A little one dimensional.
