Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, grapefruit and catty dankness. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, orange, grapefruit, faint mixed tropical fruit black pepper and catty dankness. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A dankish West Coast style IPA with expected citrus but with dankness the primary flavor profile. A little pepper spice livens up the flavor a bit. Surprisingly modest bitterness for a brew with CTZ hops which are usually high in alpha oils. It's a satisfactory IPA, but a bit mellow for my taste.

Can pour - almost clear medium gold straw color with frothy white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose has hints of the hop varieties with a wisp of sweet malt. Taste follows with some citrus and pine, a bit of malt and a slight bite lingering on the dryish finish. My daughter enjoys this brew and thinks the can is cute.

Man I dunno how "retired" this beer is, I just had a fresh batch in February 2022.
Pours the familiar golden yellow color, definitely not clean looking like their lagers. Bit of chill haze here. Or dry hop whatever. 1/2" white head. Speaking of dry hop, this checks another familiar box, a nose full of Citra and Mosaic hops. Candied orange, weed and papaya.
The taste plays out about as predictably as the Citra/Mosaic citrus/tropical vibe almost always does. Same intensity as in the nose. Again, minimal barley backbone but not underdone by any means. Middle of the road bitterness. Above average drinkability. Light sweetness. Had this one on tap. So, this was a good beer, make no mistake. If, and I mean, if, you were to complain, its that this beer is practically ubiquitous these days, everyone makes at least 1, if not a dozen Citra/Mosaic ipas, and this one checks the usual boxes. I'd still buy a 4 pack of it if I saw it. Just isn't that upper echelon of stuff UR does.
Man its been a six week period, losing George, and now Boomer today. RIP boys, hope you're playing together.

Can dated Guac My World 09/03/20 into a tumbler.
L: Bright golden, 1 finger of white medium density head with good retention and left mixed lacing.
S: Dank forward with berries and other tropical aspects hiding in the background.
T: Follows the nose to a "T" with the addition of a pine dimension, finishes with moderate bitterness that subtly lingers on the palate.
F: Low-medium bodied with moderate carbonation, slick on the tongue and finish. Possibly a hair on the thin side.
O: Tasty WCIPA that's right up my alley. Will gladly repeat.

Canned 07/15/20
Appearance - Pours crystal clear and golden yellow in color with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention before dying to a thin, consistent layer of suds, thickening up slightly around the edge of the glass. A few broken lines and small spotting make up the lace.
Smell - Citrusy, lesser pine, hints of tropical notes. Underlying malty sweetness.
Taste - Citrusy with a hint of tropical character upfront, then lesser pine and a hint of black pepper come into play. Malts are bready/lightly toasty with splash of caramel sweetness. Flavors fade quickly in the finish, leaving a mostly clean aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium body with fair carbonation. Stupid smooth and slick on the tongue; this goes down way too easy. Refreshing finish.
Overall - Solid WC IPA. Good flavor, but what really makes this one shine is its amazing smoothness.

16oz can, fairly fresh. Orange color. Heavy Mosaic hops, tropical fruit flavors, some pine, West Coast but modern West Coast if that makes sense. Tasty.
