Deep brown color. Thin, off-white head. Caramel malt, plum, dried fruits, and yeasts in the aroma. Moderately sweet taste with medium body and notes of dried fruits.

Appearance - The beer had a rusty maroon color with an off-white/tan head.
Smell - I did not pick up port in the nose, but I certainly picked up caramel. The beer smelled like a dessert cake.
Taste - The beer tasted like the lovechild of a caramel bundt cake and a quad. There was a definite undercurrent of red grapes, but I would not necessarily say it was port-like. Though the sweetness of the profile carried throughout the taste, it was not cloying. Despite the potential high levels of sweetness, there was a nice sense of balance.
Mouthfeel - There was a Belgian level of stickiness, but the body was thin with light carbonation.
Overall - A port aged quad is a bit unusual, but I really enjoyed this.
