Can from Capitol Highway Deli Mart
A clear orange with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is gorgeous, soft, bready, doughy, toasty, mild Simpson malt character and a nice, rich, fruity English yeast character, softly estery and fruity. Mildly hoppy with fresh, clean, mildly citrusy hops with an earthy herbaceous character. On the palate, these flavors are mirrored, and despite the low ABV, the body is lovely and rather rich. A mild mineral character is present, and there's a really nice hop profile. Great beer.

Clear yellow amber brew with adequate foam in the big Duvel tulip. Surprisingly sweet and malty. Brewed with 100% Styrian Goldings hops. Some faint hoppy aroma with the grain. Flavor starts with some cereal and heads to the hoppy bitterness with a resiny finish. Rather bitter aftertaste, but it counterbalances the malt, I suppose. This is quite gulpable, though I wouldn't say it's something you would find in a British pub. However it's an interesting interpretation for the cold and fizzy American taste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bottlecraft at Liberty Station. Dated 12/01/22.
