Can courtesy of PStone530.
About 3 months old.
Kind of a boozy mess.
Looks good.
Nose resembles a light malty bready saaz hoppiness.
Taste is far too strong and boozy.
Medium mouthfeel.
Overall: not good. Couldn’t recommend. Would have been a better strategy to go for a 7% imperial pils instead of 10% maybe?

This was a rare miss from urban roots for me. Hits more like a pale Belgian strong ale than anything resembling a pilsner. Big and heavy on the palate, lots of malt sweetness just barely off set by a earthy, estery, happiness. Does a great job of hiding the 10% and its not a bad beer once you readjust your expectations but its not a pilsner
Looks perfectly fine for a pilsner
Nose lets on that something is a little off, rich deep bready aroma, very little hop note at all
Taste follows, big and soft, rich white bread with a vague herbal spiciness to it
Mouthfeel is super full and heavy, kind of the opposite of what I look for from a pilsner
