Crystal clear, light gold body; slightly sparse carbonation yet head is fairly thick and frothy. Mildly malty on the nose with a touch of delicate sweetness and herbal suggestions. Light malt base flavor with a bold herbal flavor topped with a moderate hop bitterness; earthy. Light to moderate mouthfeel; crisp and rather dry overall.

This is a fine helles. It has more hop herbal and bitterness notes on top of a somewhat thin malt base.

Can from The Beermongers.

A crystal clear light yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is ridiculous. Rustic, raw, bready, doughy, deep, rich, mildly lemony and earthy with a hint of minty bitterness. Fabulous. Delicate sweetness. The palate opens soft, bready, doughy, raw and rustic with a grainy sweetness. Dough, honey, bread, a little sugar, lemon and earth. Drying, rustic on the finish. Light in body, highly carbonated. Long, subtle finish with dough, honey and lemon. Brilliant.

On tap at Windsor Home Brew in Anaheim, CA.

Just clean. Like a 1950’s housewife who has nothing to do but shine grime, this one is impeccable. Beautiful and crisp and crisp and beautiful. This one speaks to me like Alex Trebac on a daily double.

See ya!

Light and sweet, honey-bread biscuity malty, and hint of lemon zesty nose on this one! Taste follows with a wonderfully balanced, light malty sweetness upfront...and then a mild, old school hoppy swallow. This is so clean and drinks very soft...yet, it still finishes with a zappy crispness on the backend. This is an absolutely outstanding Helles Lager!

Can dated 06/24/2021 Double Hockey Sticks into a nonic pint.

L: Straw yellow with 1+ finger of low-density white head with moderate retention and left mixed lacing.

S: Nose is soft, herbal and floral with cereal grains.

T: Much more dynamic than the nose, but tracks it well. Sweetness is limited, and has moderate bitterness that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

F: Low-medium bodied with medium-high carbonation, bubbly and dances on the tongue, crisp on the swallow.

O: Really outstanding local Helles that I'll repeat many times.
