Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lading. Aroma of pale malt, citrus, dank and tropical fruit hops, yuzu, catty dankness, mixed over-ripe tropical fruit and a notable peppery spiciness. Flavor is dry caramel malt, citrus, dank and piney hops, grapefruit, passion fruit, catty dankness and mixed tropical fruit; pine and grapefruit in the finish with solid bitterness. Glad I tried both versions of Urban Root's guacamole IPAs, because I like this one quite a bit better than the "with extra guacamole" one, and I'm not really sure why. There is good citrus and dank character here, but also some pine, which I didn't expect from the hop bill, but always appreciate. There are some ripe exotic fruit flavors that are somewhat odd, but really suited my palate.I really liked this one and enjoyed the finish particularly. Nice bitterness too. I'd get this again.

Can pour- clear pale golden straw color with white head leaving frosty lacing. Nose is a mild mix of malt and hops. Taste follows with a mild mosaic and citra influence. ABV well hidden. Finish is clean leaning toward dry.

I'm really not a DIPA consumer much these days, but this is clean, not overly sweet nor thick on mouthfeel. I prefer the lighter Guac is Extra, but this is well crafted and not too heavy for my palate and preferences.
