Drown the Sun, our longest aged vintage-dated Imperial Stout from the Bourbon barrel-aged series has spent 15 months in barrels, and a whopping 24 months bottle-conditioning in our cellar.
This extended process makes for a complex, mature, and decadent Imperial Stout. Intense fruit and malt followed by an extremely mellow roast character make for those unique, lush cellar release

Sweet dark-roasty chocolate malty, sweet dark fruits, and subtle bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a dark chocolate bitter, roasty-toasty barrel, and big bourbon boozy finish. This is...complex...I'm picking up barleywine vibes on the nose and palate as well. 3+ years in the making! This is good stuff!

Near jet black body with the thinnest of dark tan head that quickly disappeared. No lacing. Heavy nose of bourbon, dark fruit, chocolate and roasted malts. Bourbon and chocolate dominate the taste, with dark fruit in the mix. Very smooth, oily body with light carbonation. This is a definite sipper that is quality all around
