Bright, clear, golden brew with plenty of foam in the Duvel tulip. Warm and zingy with plenty of spritz on the tongue. Hops are listed as Citra and Palisade. Always an adventure to try a new hop. I seem to taste coconut lately and this is it, with a spicy, almost caraway taste. Quite aromatic and different from the usual fruit concoctions. Rather bitter, on the dark side of woody. Well worth a try, and certainly more complex and unexpected than most IPAs. From the 16 oz can purchased in Laguna Niguel, where ever that is.

Another pour from the night before dipa fest during sfbw. This one was good but not great, which is the perfect beer to symbolize the good but overhyped Nix Tacos.
Pours a standard golden color familiar to millions like the Oasis album. 3/5" white head. Creamy, dense. Mild clarity. An aroma hitting of mostly citrus flesh and rind. Light woodiness to it. Palisade hops coming across pretty similar to traditional C hop wood/pine effect. If you aren't familiar with Palisade, I'd say they come off like a hybrid Centennial/Simcoe in this iteration.
Taste has that bitterness that parallels that of a Simcoe and/or C hop in its sturdiness, but also like forest like effects on the palate. Brisk. Decently dry enough, minimal malt bill as almost every yellow colored beer from UR. Its actually pretty basic in terms of ipa formulation, but executed well in a popular style. 55ish ibu, 7%ish west coast ipa. Its the chicken taco of ipa.
Which again, is actually on point for Nix Tacos. Basic, even good, yet raved about beyond those same parameters. But you know how the gape mouthed soy boy crowd is. Reeeeeee! My ego says you've never had anything like this! Derp. Its good man, but a few of us have had good beer and tacos all over the world. Shit man, Urban Roots tacos are just as good. Y'all act like you ain't seen blue corn before.

Can pour - almost clear lemony yellow with foamy white head leaving frosty lacing. Nose is citrusy and tropical with hints of pine. Taste follows with a mild bitterness lingering on the finish.
