What is called an IPA on the label is an IPL here at this Next Glass owned database. Its also an IPA at their significantly more popular website, Untappd. But. . . they do use a lager yeast, so all in all, this might be the most accurate place nonetheless.
Pours a very pretty golden color with excellent clarity and 3/5" white head with some spacious bubbles of varied size. The aroma pops in a Citra and Simcoe vein, like cold weather orange groves with icy pine needle kind of aroma. But it isn't Citra, its Mosaic, but its giving more citrus than normal. There is nothing malt wise going on in the nose contrary to the previous review.
The taste is seemingly led moreso by the Simcoe hop. Keeps the icy, middle of the road bitterness alongside a mild pine needle taste influence. Not a juicy ipa (thankfully?). Very minimalistic barley property, its a hops and yeast showcase. I'd guess I slightly preferred the original, but they're both pretty good.

Can pour- crystal clear pale yellow with short white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose is a bit malty and earthy with some pine and resin notes. Taste follows with lager yeast coming through. Finishes slightly dry.
