Here's a pretty little pilsner for you. A great selection with some smoked meats, a day at the ballpark or beach, just really one of those 365 bangers that goes with almost anything. Here is your first review ever of said beer on this Next Glass owned database.
Pours a pretty golden color with first tier clarity. Really tight small bubbled head right at 1" when poured into a Lakefront Mardi Gras glass. Not even sure I could tell this and Slo Pour Pils apart, they both look that good. The aroma pops hardest for the grain, a surprise given the non traditional proprietary hopped Mosaic in here. But it still smells good and hoppy (but not too hoppy like an ipa/ipl), but the pilsner malt really shines for once over the Mosaic (and Citra?) hop.
The taste continues to display a brightness of those golden waves of grain. Crisp mouthfeel. Light body, but substantial at the same time. Good hop contributions, just a light grapefruit/orange feel to it with some berry feels to it. Solid all the way around, I don't think I'll hesitate to pick this up again in the future.
