Looks like another BeerNV selection. Great selection at that place, nice laid out vibe, plus Winco across the way. I'm a big fan of food and drink. Anyways, here is your first review ever of this beer for this Next Glass owned database. You're welcome.gif/Damien Sandow rules.
Pours a hazy-cloudy dullard yellow. 1/4" white head. Its the least good thing about a good beer. The Riwaka pops plenty of dank light Nelson like notes, gooseberry, basement weed dankness, papaya. The taste bangs away much the same way, giving that breathy diesel fume dankness but without the heavier garlic/onion Summit like impact that a heavier down under hop might.
There's not too much to speak of grain wise, has that neutral its there but out of the way edge, seems like a flaked wheat and/or wheat presence from both the mouthfeel and appearance. Its sawft, but bouyed by Riwaka's relative pungency. Its like a prison of love. Good stuff to keep you Midwest sober.
