Once a year we go searching for little pumpkins. After we find our victims, we rip out their innards and remove their skin leaving nothing but their sweet flesh. We then take that flesh, combine it with a Baltic Porter malt base and mash all that flesh right in. The fluid left is boiled with hops and pumpkin pie spices, put into a fermenter. It then has brown sugar added to make a beer that is fitting for the fall season. We find this beer to be perfect from Halloween throughout the holiday season.

At the brewery in a snifter.
I am not a big pumpkin fan. But they did a nice job combining a porter with pumpkin.
Definitely worth a try. Hefty ABV that is well disguised.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; light khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and nice lacing. The aromas have some roasted malts along with some chocolate. Subtle spices. The flavors are bold and slightly rich. The spice profile is great. Some cinnamon and ginger. Some peppermint bark in the mix. There's a nice blend of dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Subtle sweetness. Low bitterness. Strong malt backbone. Alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is nice. It's full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth, slightly sharp and slightly creamy. It's hard to believe that this beer is 10.5 % ABV. This one is dangerously drinkable.
This is a great "Pumpkin Baltic Porter". Great flavors. I really like the pumpkin spices that they use. I really like the chocolate aspects as well. They did a nice job of fusing a pumpkin beer with a Baltic Porter. Well done.
