Crowler from Brindle Haus Brewing Company in Spencerport, NY.
This one pours a darkish brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This has a nicely authentic peanut butter aroma - a lot of peanut butter beers are artificial garbage. There's some sweet milk chocolate and just a touch of roast on the nose too.
This is definitely simple, but it's pleasing anyway. There's a lot of peanut butter, slightly roasty, mostly candy sweet, like a Reese's. The sweet milk chocolate of the base porter melds well with the peanut butter, obviously. There's not a lot of roast in the base - I'd want some more. The little bit there is - it's not enough to counteract the sweetness.
This is light bodied, but pretty creamy and silky, with a great drinkability.
This is a touch unbalanced, but undeniably tasty.
