This one pours really appetizing looking golden hazy orange color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like grapefruit and orange hop character, light creamy vanilla, orange creamsicle, and pine.
This is really well done, and somewhat reminiscent of Tired Hands milkshakes from back in the day. The vanilla is definitely present but not overwhelming – it’s still an IPA at heart here, with a healthy and refreshing bitterness. There’s not too much lactose either, luckily.
This is really drinkable, with a nice creamy fullness to it.
Not that Brindle Haus is a bad brewery or anything, but I really didn’t expect to like this one as much as I did.
