A blonde dunkelweisse brewed exclusively for ABX (Alberta Beer Exchange) to celebrate their one year anniversary.
Poured from a howler.
Appearance - Pours a clear gold with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, fruity esters of coriander, clove, and pepper, banana bread aromas, bready malts, and spicy earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and hops upfront then quickly goes into the fruity esters of coriander, clove, and pepper. The banana bread aromas, bready malts, and spicy earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and creamy with the other elements lingering.
Overall - A unique twist to the dunkelweizen style. This one is definitely worth a go as it is very smooth and easy to put back. If you find yourself at ABX don't leave without purchasing a howler of this. Happy 1st anniversary Analog!
