Described by brewer and bartender as a winterbier. Somewhat spicy, good body, not bitter, but not too sweet for my IPA partner. On draft at Bierbistro Groote Genoegen in ‘s-Hertgotenbosch.

This is not a dark lager but rather a Belgian dark strong or a winterbier as they call it themselves. It was bittered with peel of the bitter orange (curacao). Unfortunately it is rather one note with a tendency towards licorice which I do not like.
