Bright light orange golden color with white cup free mousing, smell of apple & grape and light sweet of mermaid, in the drunk taste you especially the sour co2 with a tone of grape or sour apple, fresh & fruity can be more flavorful to me than Texels White

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat and some orange peel. I don't really get too much coriander in the aroma.

The flavor is wheat with some coriander - with the wheat dominating. I don't get any orange peel notes in the flavor.

Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Got this beer directly from Texel by my parents. They know I'm a big fan of the Skuumkoppe by this brewery so they decided to take the whole range for me. I started out with this one.

A: Hazy yellow color with almost no head. Nice lacing however.

S: Some citrus as expected, but not so much as in other popular white beers and this is a good thing for me. Some hops and a little floral too. No a strong herbal thing going on here either.

T: Grains, light hops, little citrus.

M: Medium/high carbonation. Body a liitle light.

D: A good summer drink and the right dose of citrus for me. Not in league with the Skuumkoppe but will surely drink it again.

Had this beer three days ago, just after starting my holiday. A nice moment to relax completely and enjoy a good, fresh and cold beer on a hot summer evening. Got this beer in a four-pack with four different Texels beer from a friend of mine, who brought it directly from the brewery. Poured into a Westmalle glass. The beer pours a yellow-orange color with a tiny white head that didn't last long.

Smell: sweet, yeasty, wheat and fresh fruits (citrus)

Taste: The flavor is moderately sweet, with yeast and clear wheat and citrus notes. The beer has a light bitter-spicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: A bit (too) thin, light, soft with medium-high carbonation

Overall: Although mentioned on the bottle, I would not classify this one as a traditional white beer though (like Hoegaarden or La Trappe witte trappist). I think it is more in between a white beer and a Weizen, because of the profound wheat taste. Nice beer, refreshing on a hot summer day, but too special.
