Poured a deep gold with excellent clarity; three fingers of white foam with rocks; very good Retention; solid rings; some soapy lacing. Nose is pine and grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit rind; pine; firm caramel malt base. Clean, crisp feel; medium minus body; moderate minus carbonation; no heat from 6.9% ABV; semi sticky resin tongue coating. Overall outstanding; hops and malt base well balanced; my kinda West Coast IPA.

A - A bright pale orange body, with a thin white cap, extensive lacing of small bubbles.
S - Pine nose, with some dank tropical fruit, a bit of lemon and tangerine citrus, and grassy, pine hoppiness.
T - Bright fruit open, a bit of lemon and grapefruit, passionfruit, mango, and peach, with a strong whole grain undercurrent, and pithy bitterness in the finish, almost tipping into medicinal, but stepping back from that edge.
M - Moderate weight and carbonation, with a strong drying line, and a resin trail that builds as you drink.
O - Nothing wrong with this one, a very bright old-school West Coast-style IPA. Very bitter, but not offensively so, and quite drinkable. Good stuff.
