This hazy Northeast style IPA is bursting with bright and juicy hops. Lush malt and vibrant yeast temper the intense tropical fruit flavour, making this IPA seriously quaffable for hop-heads and casual craft drinkers alike. Also, a crowd favorite!

Unfortunately after purchase I realized the can I picked up is over 8-months old, so I have a feeling this drinking experience is going to be a pretty far departure from what the fresh product actually tastes like. But it's all I have to go on, so...
Pale lemonade body with very mild haze (really just medium opaqueness) and zero turbidity. Tons of minuscule bubbles rising up from the depths. Really nice off-white cap of soft, sudsy bubbles that isn't big upon pouring but provides really nice streaks of soapy lacing.
Aroma profile certainly has some nondescript citrus, but there really isn't much going on here. Pretty grassy, a solid amount of wheat biscuit, with some faint notes of green grape and berries. Maybe a little grapefruit pith. But I'm swirling and sniffing and just not getting much out of this one. Presumably the 8+ months of age on the can has resulted in a major drop off for most of the hops in the mix.
Same story on the tongue, as there are traces of grapefruit and resin, and the beer has a nice bitterness, but there's not a lot going on and there's a decided wet cardboard note, so I'm assuming my experience is being heavily impacted by oxidation. A meaningful amount of malt sweetness and a fair amount of grassy greens. Would be very interested to try this fresh, as it has a seemingly interesting mix of potential layers. But the product, as it is, isn't good.
Really nice mouthfeel and level of carbonation Soft, silky, medium-bodied, with a nice prickle on the tongue. Zero heat or booze.
