Havre St-Pierre is a complex ale produced with four different malts. It pours a light copper colour with a lingering off white head. It is a rich and full flavoured ale with notes of roasted nuts, dark caramel, toasted bread, and dried fruit. Cascade hops impart a light citrus aroma that complements the malty qualities of this easy-drinking beer.

sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into a plastic tasting cup. No date stamp on the can, picked up a local grocery store in Sackville.
The beer pours a very nice amber to chestnut color and a creamy, fluffy khaki colored head foams up about .5 cm. This foam fades pretty quickly to a sturdy edge layer. I do get very clingy lattice on the sides of my cup as the beer settles.
The aroma is toasted grains and some caramel, a little bit of floral hop note and some light fruitiness too, maybe pear. No hint of the ABV.
First sip reveals a medium to light body with fine tingly carbonation. Texture is very smooth on this beer and it drinks easy.
Flavor is caramel and some light fruit with hints of toasted grain and a drying rindy hop bite on the finish. No hint of the ABV here either.
This beer drinks very easy and is interesting enough on the flavor. It isnt overly robust on flavor or aroma, but does look very nice in the glass (cup). A decent beer example of the style.

Hazy amber with a thick well-defined head. Sweet malty nose. Medium malt body, pleasantly sweet. Good crispness to finish.
